My husband Sami and I live in the heart of the Mediterranean region, near Italian border – in Capodistria. We have three adorable kids: 3, 5 and 7 years old. My heart is beating for my family (of course 🙂 ), cooking (tasty and local food – passed to me from my nonna Anna-Carolina) and my camera to share my creations.
After my husband and I were travelling all around Europe we immediately felt in love with all picturesque regions (and food 😉 ) in Italy. We love our Istrian region and food a lot as well.
Tasteful, traditional, unique, authentic local food with a pinch of genuine people gave us the idea to share with other local food lovers our passion for Italian and Istrian cuisine.
All products in our e-shop are coming directly from local farmers / producers who we met during our traveling in Italy and in our home region – Istria. First we tasted their products during different occasions (in restaurants, small local fairs, in bars …), met the producers and their families, saw the location and finally got to know with their production. All the products in our food e-shop are made in the Mediterranean region.

LOCAL PRODUCTS DIRECTLY FROM FARMERS
We work together directly with local producers and we personally choose only the genuine and local-made products. We meet each producer and their families on their territory and see the love and passion they share from generation to generation. We believe in tradition, simplicity and local food. Our e-shop offers to you only high-quality products. No artificial colors and flavors were added.
FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDERS >250 EUR
Free delivery is available on orders over 250 EUR. We will send the products directly to your home with DHL carrier. Most orders will be delivered the same day when placed before 2:00 PM. Orders are normally processed within 3 to 4 business days. We deliver to all EU countries.
PACKEAGING
Your orders will be handled by us with love. We use boxes for regular deliveries since they are the most convenient and suitable way of packing an order. Our boxes are very strong and carefully closed. You will receive all the products with DHL delivery directly to your delivery address.
PAYMENT METHODS AND RETURNING POLICY
Locanda Mediterraneo is able to accept all major credit cards Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Paypal and payments in advance. We can accept returns of items as long as you contact us within 24 hours.
